HOW TO HELP

Wondering how you can support the Heim Middle PTSA?

There are several ways! Becoming a member is the fastest and easiest way to support us and our mission. Joining the PTSA helps us reach the membership goals our governing body sets for us and a portion of your membership fee goes towards our budget which funds student activities. Becoming a member does not mean you have to attend meetings or volunteer, but we would love it if you did! Click the “Join Now” button in our main menu to become a member today!

If you can donate your time and talent, here are other ways to help:

  • We have a full calendar of PTSA led events that happen throughout the year. Please keep an eye on WITS, our newsletter, social media or this site to learn more about upcoming volunteer opportunities at events and more.

  • Our board can’t do it all. We rely on community members to help us get everything done and we are always looking for people interested in getting more involved that are willing to chair an event, committee or program. Currently for the 2025-2026 school year we are recruiting for:

    • Fundraising Committee Chair and Members

    • Nominating Committee Chair

  • Board members serve one term and can opt to serve additional terms if they’d like but each year we typically have a few board positions available. If you have an interest in being part of the team that helps steer Heim Middle’s PTSA, please reach out to our President about board positions that will be available for the upcoming school year.

  • Currently the Heim Middle PTSA does one large fundraiser per year and if we don’t reach our fundraising goal, we will do several smaller fundraisers throughout the year. An easy way to support us is to participate in our fundraisers and help us raise funds to host amazing student events.

  • We collect Dash’s Market receipts and when we turn them in to Dash’s, the company will give us back a portion of the total of our receipts. If you shop at Dash’s save your receipts and send them into school with your child. There is an envelope on the PTSA bulletin board between the gym and auditorium or they can be left in the main office.
