“As the Heim Elementary Co-President for the past two years and the volunteer coordinator before that, I have helped develop the community by working with the administration, staff, and parents to raise funds, manage the budget, and create events to enhance the student experience. As my son moves on to fifth grade, I'm looking forward to continuing building community through the PTA at Heim Middle. “

“As my kids are getting older, I am always looking for ways to stay involved in their lives. I’ve coached their sports, been the room dad, but I r never been involved much at the school level and with two kids at the middle school and another on the way soon, I thought what better way than jumping in and seeing where I could be of service for the PTA.

I have a financial background working as an analyst for both M&T bank as well as Labatt USA. I also managed the Business Analytics team at Meritain Health.”

“My name is Kristen Cacciotti.  In the past, I have volunteered at events planned by the PTA. This year I was the PTSA Council rep for both Heim elementary and Heim Middle and I looked so much about PTA and about both schools.  I will have two kids in the middle school next year so I was looking to get more involved in the PTA. For the 25-26 I am running for Corresponding Secretary for the PTA here at Heim Middle. I am looking forward to a great year!”

A Note from Rachel

“My name is Rachel Peer and I am interested in the position of recording secretary for the Heim Middle PTA. So far, I have mostly been on the sidelines in terms of PTA involvement, attending the bi-monthly meetings, donating to events, and small, day-of volunteer roles. In attending meetings, it has awed me how much a small group of parents is able to accomplish for a school when they work together, and I have been wanting to take a bigger role to contribute to the success of my children’s school. I am a pharmacist by trade, so organization skills and being detail oriented are intensely important to what I do, which I think will lend itself well to the position of recording secretary. If chosen, I very much look forward to helping create a cohesive team to work toward a great school experience for our kids!”
